This song was honestly kind of heavy for me... I wrote this about two years ago at my old bedroom in my parents' house after dropping out of college. The song is essentially about the fear of missing out, the inescapable thought that everyone your own age is having more fun than you, and that they may even have it all "more figured out." This song embodies my atmosphere of escapism through drinking some liquor and writing something without holding back what I needed to let out. It was therapeutic to make something without the intention of sounding like what I think I'm "supposed" to sound like . Creating during a tough period of isolation brings out the vulnerability in art that I feel is much needed for the artist and the consumer.
